Finance Systems Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Maintain, validate, and reconcile financial data between SAP and Snowflake data warehouse
• Transform and model data in dbt
• Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering for accurate data ingestion
• Support finance users in troubleshooting data or system issues
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports using SQL and BI tools
• Translate business requirements into data queries and visualizations
• Identify and automate manual finance data processes
• Contribute to data governance frameworks

Requirements

• Previous experience as a finance systems or data analyst
• Strong SQL skills for data modeling and transformations
• Experience with dbt or similar analytics engineering frameworks
• Experience integrating data from SAP to Snowflake or similar cloud platforms
• Proficiency in financial data analysis and visualization (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python or DBT for data automation
• Exposure to SAP S4 Hana
• Understanding of SAP Finance modules (FI, CO, AR, AP, GL)
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake advanced SQL
• Strong automation and AI capabilities
