About the Company

The European Payments Initiative is changing the way Europe pays with Wero, a proudly European digital wallet designed to make payments easier, clearer, and more secure. Backed by 16 major banks and the two largest European acquirers, we are building a brand new, pan-European payment system.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end budgeting and financial planning across Product, Engineering, and Design
  • Manage sourcing, procurement, and purchase orders in collaboration with central teams
  • Oversee vendor and contract lifecycle management, including commercial terms and renewals
  • Drive tool governance, cost control, and access management across the technical landscape
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CPTO on financial insights and operational priorities

Requirements

  • Proven experience supporting senior executives in tech or fintech organizations
  • Strong hands-on experience in budgeting, financial planning, or FP&A
  • Ability to operate autonomously and challenge senior stakeholders constructively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in complex, cross-functional environments
  • Proficiency with MS Office 365 and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to thrive in a remote-first, multicultural setting
