Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide financial modeling to analyze property performance and make recommendations
• Underwrite acquisition targets and prepare analytical reports
• Review and propose budgets to analyze actuals vs. pro forma financials
• Prepare and present materials for new and existing investments
• Facilitate monthly reporting, trending, forecasting, and projections
• Value existing real estate assets based on historical operating and financial performance
• Analyze transactions including cash on cash and leveraged/unleveraged returns
• Compile and interpret due diligence information relating to financial and physical asset performance

Requirements

• Bachelor and/or Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred
• Past operational experience in residential property management, preferably in student housing
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and ability to manipulate large data sets
• Excellent critical reasoning, quantitative, and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Entrata software
