Job description

Responsibilities

  • Navigate carrier portals for data acquisition and development of client financial reporting dashboards
  • Assist in building and updating Consulting-related tools and templates
  • Work collaboratively with consulting and sales teams to provide financial related support
  • Create ad-hoc analyses for informed client decisions
  • Prepare financial analyses and exhibits for customer presentations
  • Support the peer review process for data accuracy
  • Troubleshoot and support Excel and spreadsheet issues for consulting and sales teams
  • Effectively manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
  • Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams and third party solution partners

Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience working in the benefits consulting or healthcare industry
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Life & Health Producer’s License
  • Certification in data analysis or MS Excel
  • Extensive experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, conditional formatting, and data validation
  • Basic understanding of funding methodologies (including self-funded, level funded and fully insured) and underwriting
