Financial Controller/Senior Bookkeeper

Responsibilities

• Own financial accuracy, reporting, compliance, and visibility across a diverse, multi-entity business portfolio
• Reconcile accounts weekly across all entities in QuickBooks Online and maintain audit-ready records
• Manage accounts payable, including vendor bill entry, categorization, and payment schedules
• Oversee accounts receivable, invoice generation, and collections tracking
• Prepare and file required sales tax submissions and maintain compliance documentation
• Produce bi-weekly cash flow forecasts and monthly budget vs. actual variance analysis
• Manage franchise taxes, business registrations, and regulatory filings
• Prepare financial scorecards and support weekly leadership meetings using EOS frameworks
• Coordinate with CPA partners for monthly reviews and year-end tax readiness

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Controller or Senior Bookkeeper
• 2+ years of advanced QuickBooks Online expertise, including multi-entity management
• 2+ years of experience managing finances across multiple businesses simultaneously
• 3+ years of advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• CPA Certified or CPA-Eligible (per NASBA International Exam guidelines)
• 100% proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week with daily overlap with US business hours
