Financial Manager

Responsibilities

• Monitor company cash flow, burn rate, and overall financial performance against approved budgets
• Track key financial indicators to ensure sustainability and operational efficiency
• Provide proactive visibility on runway, cost drivers, and near-term financial risks
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, forecasts, and executive management reports
• Develop financial models and projections to support strategic planning and growth initiatives
• Deliver clear, decision-ready insights to leadership on financial performance and resource allocation
• Lead budgeting cycles and ensure structured monitoring of departmental spend
• Support financial planning, risk assessment, and long-term resource optimization
• Maintain the investor data room with accurate, up-to-date financial documentation
• Prepare reporting materials for investors, board-level discussions, and fundraising processes
• Ensure audit readiness through disciplined documentation and financial governance
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records across transactions and reporting cycles
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, local regulatory requirements, and internal financial controls
• Strengthen financial governance as SAGER scales across markets and operational complexity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5–7 years of financial management experience, ideally in fast-growing or operationally intensive companies
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Proven experience managing cash flow, burn rates, and investor-facing financial documentation
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA/ACCA qualification
