Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a book of business by delivering comprehensive wealth management services across investments, retirement planning, estate planning, insurance, and tax strategy
- Transition existing client relationships onto Farther's platform, ensuring a seamless experience for clients throughout the onboarding process
- Prospect for new clients through referrals, community engagement, professional networks, and direct outreach
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships across a range of profiles, including high-net-worth individuals and families, professionals, nonprofits, executives, and small business owners
- Leverage Farther's technology, planning tools, and support infrastructure to deliver a high-quality, personalized client experience
- Collaborate with team members on complex client situations and support the development of junior advisors
Requirements
- Minimum $10–15M AUM book of business with transferable client relationships
- Series 65 or 66 license required
- Demonstrated track record of proactive business development and consistent client prospecting
- History of strong client retention and organic book growth
- Breadth of experience across multiple client types and planning disciplines
- Collaborative working style with a long-term orientation toward practice ownership
Preferred Qualifications
- CFP, CFA, ChFC, AIF, or other advanced designations
- Experience with nonprofits, 401(k)s, executive comp, or small business owners
- Background mentoring or developing junior advisors
- 30M+ AUM book looking for a more flexible, modern platform
