FinOps Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze costs in Cloud and technology environments to ensure financial efficiency
• Prepare monthly reports and presentations regarding cost closing and budget
• Apply FinOps practices to optimize infrastructure and Cloud investments
• Monitor and control budgets, identifying cost reduction and performance improvement opportunities with Engineering teams
• Use advanced Google Sheets for data analysis, projections, and financial modeling
• Apply basic accounting knowledge, including P&L analysis, provision control, CAPEX/OPEX management, and financial forecasting
• Support strategic decisions by creating executive presentations with data-driven insights and consumption metrics

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Administration, Economics, or related fields
• Minimum experience in financial management of Cloud environments or technology infrastructure
• Knowledge of Cloud pricing models, basic architecture, and resource sizing
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Knowledge of financial governance, budgeting, and forecasting
• Experience with cost governance for AI/ML infrastructure (LLM API consumption, GPU clusters, GenAI services)
• Strong communication, influence, negotiation, and collaborative skills
