Forward Deployed Engineer, Agentic Platform

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features for North, Cohere's AI workspace platform
• Develop autonomous agents that interact with sensitive enterprise data
• Experiment at a high velocity and maintain a high level of quality
• Engage with customers and deliver solutions that exceed expectations
• Work across the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization to production
• Lead end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments, including planning, configuration, testing, and rollout

Requirements

• Experience working directly with customers
• Strong proficiency in Python with production deployments
• Proven track record building and deploying performant client-side or server-side RAG/agentic applications
• Background deploying enterprise software in private/hybrid cloud environments
• Strong coding abilities with comfort across the stack
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP), networking, and virtualization
• Ability to execute effectively in fast-paced, shifting environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience outside the main code base and ability to solve cross-functional issues
• Interest in or knowledge of finance, healthcare, or telecommunications verticals
• Prior agent development and production agent system deployments
