Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own a product end to end: discovery, design, build, deploy, and measurement
• Embed with subject-matter experts to build solutions alongside them
• Build across the stack including APIs, interfaces, and integrations
• Select appropriate technical instruments such as models, pipelines, or vendor products
• Work on financial intelligence, operational workflow, marketing, and data products
• Drive AI codegen and set standards for team usage

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript
• Experience with APIs, SQL, and production deployments
• Deep familiarity with AI-assisted development and coding agents
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical partners
• Background in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Ability to work from loosely defined problems and take ownership
• Prior work in property management, real estate, or operations-heavy industries
• Familiarity with Domo or other BI platforms
• Exposure to property management systems like Yardi, RealPage, or Entrata
• Experience building internal tools or automation for non-technical businesses
