Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end technical delivery for assigned clients
• Run technical calls, reviews, and client sign-offs
• Translate client constraints into technical requirements and implementation plans
• Lead client-specific adapter implementation, data mapping, and API integrations
• Make architectural decisions within scope and escalate platform-level concerns
• Collaborate with engineering, product owners, and team leads on feature guidance and validation
• Work with infrastructure teams on deployments, multi-tenancy design, and release validation
• Travel to client sites as needed (<20%) and document learnings

Requirements

• Proficiency in TypeScript and Go
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
• Familiarity with relational databases and data mapping
• Knowledge of durable execution platforms (e.g., Temporal)
• Strong API integration and debugging skills (logs, traces)
• Ownership mindset and accountability for client success
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical client interactions
• Prior client-facing or implementation experience
• Ability to translate technical constraints into business requirements
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Abu Dhabi based (permanent) candidates preferred
• Consulting, agency, or startup experience
• Proven track record in client-facing technical roles
• Experience with multi-tenant deployments and production troubleshooting
