Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and own software solutions deployed directly to customer environments
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer stakeholders
• Own end-to-end technical delivery from requirements gathering through deployment and sustainment
• Contribute hands-on code to improve product capabilities, performance, and scalability
• Build software to unlock value from large-scale text, multimedia, and geospatial datasets
• Collaborate with engineers, product designers, and mission domain experts
• Support government-facing technical artifacts including RFIs, RFPs, and white papers
• Navigate and integrate with government IT ecosystems and security constraints

Requirements

• 5+ years as a Full Stack Developer
• Proficiency with relational databases (Postgres), caching (Redis), and object storage (S3)
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React
• Experience developing software compliant with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Experience interfacing with government-owned IT systems (IdAM, SIEM, CDSs, etc.)
• Experience working with government program offices to scope technical requirements
• Experience conducting user testing and gathering product feedback from end users
• Active U.S. TS Security clearance with SCI Eligibility
• Ability to travel 20–30%
