Founding Marketing Lead

About the Company

Our client builds an AI workforce for the federal government. Their AI workers are trained on government workflows, operate reliably and compliantly, and build their own tools and software to modernize processes that have not changed in decades. They are venture-backed, have run live pilots, and are now chasing major contracts head-on against large incumbents.

Responsibilities

• Own positioning and messaging for the company
• Create high-quality content including long-form writing, product videos, and podcasts
• Manage social media to drive real engagement
• Execute events and stakeholder mapping for high-level government decision makers
• Build and manage the demand engine including targets, campaigns, and channels
• Manage online and in-person funnels to drive buyer interest
• Oversee outside vendors and agencies
• Rapidly test and iterate on new marketing strategies

Requirements

• US citizenship and eligibility for US security clearance
• Experience in growth, events, marketing, psychological/information operations, or political campaigns
• Proven track record of driving pipeline or successful campaigns
• A portfolio, website, or body of published work (required)
• Ability to own both strategy and hands-on execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Based in the DMV or NYC area
• Experience marketing technical or software products
• Experience marketing to or selling into government
• Strong perspective on modern defense-tech marketing campaigns
