Job description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary IT resource for 100–130 employees across Interdependence and affiliated companies
  • Own day-to-day help desk operations and provide timely support for 50–100 monthly requests
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including account creation, licensing, and device setup
  • Troubleshoot Level 1 and Level 2 technical issues involving hardware, software, and connectivity
  • Build and maintain IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures
  • Partner with executive leadership to recommend technologies and process improvements
  • Implement cybersecurity best practices including endpoint security and multi-factor authentication

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
  • Proven experience supporting a fully remote or distributed workforce
  • Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and licensing
  • Ability to provide consistent business-hours coverage (Monday–Friday) for approximately 20 hours per week
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical users
