Freelance Animator & GFX Artist

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, visualize and design special effects, animation, or other visual images for client videos
• Produce animated graphics ranging from lower thirds, logos, and bumpers to full productions
• Modify and rework existing motion graphics assets
• Collaborate with clients and team members

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in multimedia design, motion graphics, video editing and animation
• Expert knowledge of After Effects, Cinema 4D, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Must have a reel or portfolio of work demonstrating skills
• Strong foundational knowledge of layout, color, grids, icons, typography, and motion
• Ability to use screen recording software like Camtasia
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
• Must own a Mac or Windows based PC or laptop

Preferred Qualifications

• BA in Graphic Design, Animation, Film or a related field
