Freelance Quality Assurance - Immediate Joiner

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop test plans and define test cases for comprehensive coverage.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, usability, and compatibility testing of software and digital products.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira), clearly communicating reproduction steps.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, scripts, data, and results.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure shared understanding of requirements and effective collaboration.
• Identify opportunities for test automation and support the development of automated test scripts.
• Adhere to industry best practices and quality assurance standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automation testing.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA best practices.
• Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems, version control systems, and test management tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail in following test plans and documenting results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly learn new tools as needed.
