French-Arabic Interpreter

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally and adhere to the Interpreter's code of conduct
• Take accurate notes during calls and render all messages completely without adding, omitting, or substituting
• Apply specialized vocabulary for healthcare and medical settings
• Facilitate communication between Limited French Proficient clients and service providers
• Complete internal professional training and pursue relevant certifications
• Report to team leaders and comply with dress code requirements for video remote interpreting

Requirements

• Fluent in French and native-level Arabic proficiency
• 1+ years of OPI/VRI experience with a recognized interpretation company
• Solid knowledge of medical terminology; legal terminology knowledge preferred
• High school diploma in your native language
• High emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance with strong listening and memory retention skills

Preferred Qualifications

• International healthcare certifications (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.)
• Additional experience in legal interpretation settings
