Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop performant user interfaces using React
• Build and maintain UI components for data-rich applications
• Support interfaces that handle real-time data and mission-critical use cases
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services using REST or GraphQL
• Support rendering performance improvements for large datasets
• Contribute to frontend architecture, state management, and application structure
• Partner with backend, platform, product, and design teams

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in frontend engineering
• Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience building data-driven web applications
• Experience working with APIs and asynchronous data flows
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture and state management
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building map-based or geospatial applications (Mapbox, Leaflet, or Deck.gl)
• Familiarity with WebGL or advanced visualization frameworks
• Experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest or Cypress
• Experience with real-time systems or operational dashboards
• Active or prior security clearance
