Full Stack AI Engineer

ANNA is on a mission to transform how autism care is delivered, leveraging technology to standardize the highest quality of clinical care for autistic individuals across specialties, at scale. We are rebuilding the operating model from the ground up using AI to drive operational excellence and clinical quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-grade AI agents for clinical and operational workflows
• Design and implement tool use, state management, and failure handling for multi-agent workflows
• Build and iterate on clinician-facing product surfaces in React and backend APIs in Django/FastAPI

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack capability (React and Django/FastAPI)
• Hands-on experience building AI agents or agentic workflows
• Experience with RAG pipelines and vector databases like pgvector

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with MCP or equivalent tool-calling protocols
• Experience working in healthcare or regulated environments (HIPAA, GDPR)
• Professional proficiency in English
