Full Stack Developer

Description: We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with web3 experience to architect, develop a variety of web3 applications. The primary focus will be developing backend systems to complete the creation of the first set of Dapps that will kickstart the Somnia Ecosystem. You will help develop both user-facing applications (Avatar builder, 3D experience) and internal applications (Dashboards for marketing activity tracking). You will also be responsible for creating early alert and monitoring systems for our existing products. The ideal candidate will also have a familiarity with web3 technologies, especially those regarding the EVM ecosystem. A basic understanding of wallets and smart contract interactions is highly desirable, as well as experience with non-custodial products like Magic Link.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and functionality.
• Build and deploy microservices using Node.js frameworks like Express and Nest.js.
• Design scaling strategies and CI/CD workflows.
• Create functions that interact with smart contracts deployed on public blockchains.
• Integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and blockchain developers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in full stack development roles.
• Profound experience in Node.js and frameworks such as Express and Nest.js.
• Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Familiarity with React and latest versions of Next.js with Typescript.
• Experience with DevOps tools is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with blockchain development and web3 technologies
• Familiarity with gaming and the videogame industry is a plus.
• Experience with GCP. AWS a plus.
