About the Company

Belltower provides fund administration services to the venture space, including syndicates, venture funds, and rolling funds. Formed in 2019 as AngelList’s native fund administrator, it supports over 27,000 funds representing more than $25B in assets under administration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate portfolio company events and data to determine appropriate valuation actions
• Prepare audited and unaudited financial statements and coordinate with audit firms
• Ensure accounting treatment for investments complies with GAAP
• Maintain and update the investment tracking system
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive automation and process improvements
• Manage specific team workflows and ad-hoc projects

Requirements

• 3-4+ years of operational excellence in the financial sector (Fund Administration or Public Accounting)
• Experience performing fund accounting for crypto-focused funds
• Strong mastery of core financial concepts and venture finance
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• CPA license is strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience reconciling digital asset positions across exchanges, custodians, on-chain wallets, and DeFi platforms
