About the Company

Belltower provides fund administration services to the venture space, including syndicates, venture funds, and rolling funds. Formed in 2019 as AngelList’s native fund administrator, it offers integrated financial reporting, tax, compliance, and portfolio management services.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and administration for a portfolio of private investment funds
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Calculate and review net asset values (NAVs), capital account statements, management fees, and carried interest allocations
• Process and oversee capital calls, distributions, and investor transfers
• Reconcile cash, investments, and bank accounts while resolving discrepancies
• Coordinate with auditors, tax specialists, and fund managers for audits and regulatory compliance
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes using AI and automation

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Fund Administration or Public Accounting
• CPA license (strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of investment company accounting (ASC 946)
• Experience preparing financial statements under U.S. GAAP
• Proficiency with fund accounting platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple client relationships and competing deadlines
• Experience mentoring offshore team members
• Proactive mindset toward process enhancement and new technologies
