Fuzhou Interpreter - OPI/VRI

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate OPI/VRI interpretation between Fuzhou and English for healthcare and medical calls
• Render all messages completely without adding, omitting, or substituting content
• Apply professional standards and interpreter code of conduct during all sessions
• Take detailed notes and maintain high accuracy under time pressure
• Participate in internal professional training and pursue relevant certifications
• Communicate effectively with team leaders and comply with video dress code requirements

Requirements

• Native fluency in Fuzhou and fluent English proficiency
• High school diploma or equivalent
• High emotional intelligence and tolerance for diverse cultures
• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills
• Dedicated wired internet (10 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload minimum)
• Windows 10+ computer with dual-core 2 GHz processor, 8 GB RAM minimum
• USB wired noise-cancelling headset with built-in microphone

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of OPI/VRI experience with a recognized interpretation company
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare settings
• International healthcare certifications (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.)
• Familiarity with legal terminology
