Responsibilities

• Economy Balance: Configure acquisition and expenditure of all resource types and control currency value from tutorial to late game.
• Progression Design: Calculate experience, set game pace, session duration, and create motivation for regular return.
• Monetization: Set up unit economics and balance prices for a hybrid IAP + Ads model.
• Technical Game Design: Write production-ready GDDs for developers including limits, data formats, and analytics requirements.
• Audit: Maintain a unified knowledge base of project economy and eliminate logic vulnerabilities.
• AI-Native Workflow: Use AI tools for simulating game sessions, generating Python code for balance calculations, and assisting in technical documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an economist in mobile F2P games, including Core and Meta cycles.
• Experience with LiveOps and operating games in a live environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (complex formulas, pivot tables, arrays, indexes).
• Strong mathematical background in probability theory (Gacha, drop rates), combinatorics, and progression curves.
• Deep understanding of metrics: Retention, Session Length, LTV, ARPDAU, and Conversion Rate.
• Proficiency in SQL for independent data retrieval and analysis.
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas/NumPy) for complex calculations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with visual system modeling.
• Ability to forecast long-term currency surpluses or deficits (LTV 180+).
