Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual evaluations and follow-up visits for adult patients with gastro conditions such as GERD, dyspepsia, IBS, chronic constipation, functional GI disorders, and stable IBD
• Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and other members of the care team to ensure continuity of care
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies as clinically appropriate
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Provide patient education and counseling on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain compliance with all telehealth regulations and licensure requirements

Requirements

• CA Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of Gastroenterology experience in outpatient or telehealth settings
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to practice autonomously in a remote care environment
• Reliable internet connection and familiarity with telemedicine technology
