GDS Script Writer

Responsibilities

• Write, test, debug, document, and deploy GDS scripts and modified code
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional Statements of Work
• Receive and resolve client inquiries via email and Zendesk by diagnosing issues and developing solutions
• Recommend optimizations for automation features and operational processes
• Develop and maintain workflow process maps for all scripting phases
• Participate in code reviews and monitor processes for expected performance
• Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to leadership
• Provide first-level support for travel technology systems such as GDS password resets and mid-office questions

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Worldspan and Travelport Plus
• Optional: programming skills on platforms that integrate with multiple GDS systems
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines with high quality
• Positive attitude and team player mentality
• Travel knowledge and willingness to travel for projects or team meetings
