Responsibilities

• Develop and implement legal strategies that support business goals and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy laws
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts including partnerships, vendor agreements, and NDAs
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks to protect company assets and reputation
• Partner with outside regulatory counsel on HIPAA compliance, data privacy, and security issues
• Serve as a trusted advisor on corporate governance matters and support board communications
• Oversee intellectual property matters and trademark management
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners as a key member of the leadership team

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and current bar membership
• 8+ years of legal experience in healthcare, technology, or related industries
• Proven experience in contract negotiation, corporate law, and risk management
• Familiarity with HIPAA, data privacy regulations, and healthcare-related laws
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and lead the legal function
