Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead regional market development: Identify, evaluate, and execute high-value partnerships with banks across African markets, and potentially expand into the Middle East and Europe.
- Build and maintain key relationships: Serve as the primary relationship owner for prospective and existing customers, conducting regular in-person meetings, attending industry events, and managing partnership development.
- Own partnership execution: Lead deal processes from initial outreach through contract signature, working collaboratively with Legal, Compliance, and Product teams.
- Develop market intelligence: Gather insights on local market conditions, regulations, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform Column’s regional strategy.
- Market expertise and network: Become an expert in correspondent banking in African markets and build an extensive regional network.
- Drive operational excellence: Create scalable processes for onboarding, relationship management, and ongoing support during regional expansion.
Requirements
- 6+ years business operations, growth, or partnerships experience in high-caliber environments
- Track record managing complex partnerships and high-value deals with executives
- Strong strategic thinking and project management skills
- Comfortable coordinating efforts across multiple teams and juggling priorities
- Scrappy, hands-on attitude and ability to adapt in fast-paced environments
- Willing and able to work in Dubai/Africa and travel regularly
