Governance Project Manager

Description Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the AggLayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the AggLayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widely-adopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains.

Responsibilities

• Be the driver of existing governance processes.
• Ensure a clean and clear operational flow based on set expectations of progressive decentralization with the Polygon community.
• Remove roadblocks, resolve ambiguity, and provide frequent, clear communication throughout a proposal’s lifecycle.
• Provide initiatives to evolve the governance process with a balance of efficiency, accountability, security, and decentralization.

Requirements

• Excellent project or operational management skills.
• Deep comprehension of existing decentralized infrastructure governance models.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
