Job description

Responsibilities

  • Assist Quantity Surveying staff in the Infrastructure Team on pre-contract and post-contract deliverables
  • Complete measurement of quantities for cost plans, estimates, and bills of quantities
  • Assist with preparation of tender documentation and viability studies
  • Support implementation and monitoring of cost control procedures
  • Evaluate variations, additions, and omissions for monthly cost reports
  • Assist in preparing, pricing, and negotiating change orders
  • Market test rates and analyze tender returns
  • Maintain technical libraries, cost data, and asset databases
  • Support report formatting, data management, and quality assurance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University
  • Recent graduate (graduated within the last 24 months or no earlier than September 2024)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 or above
  • Continuous education (Master's degree must have started within 12 months of Bachelor's completion)
  • Less than 1 year of postgraduate work experience
