Graduate Engineer – Geotechnical (UAE Nationals Only)

Responsibilities

• Develop designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and project models as required within the discipline
• Produce drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer
• Assist in design content using both design and technical knowledge to ensure high-quality outputs on schedule
• Use computer software to solve engineering problems
• Coordinate with other discipline engineers for design process continuity
• Participate in design progress and coordination meetings
• Proactively seek information, participate and contribute to improvements in efficiency and effectiveness
• Solve problems by applying experience or theoretical knowledge to atypical assignments

• Geotechnical Investigations
• Assessment of Geotechnical Parameters
• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Preparation of Ground Models for different design situations
• Shallow and Deep Foundation Design
• Earthworks (Embankment) and Slope/Seismic Design
• Geophysical Survey
• Geotechnics of dam design

Software exposure includes:

• Slope Stability Analysis (Slope/W, Slide)
• Seepage Analysis (Seep/W)
• FEM 2D & 3D (Plaxis, RS2/3, Sigma/W, FLAC)
• Pile Analysis (Repute, Group, LPile)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• Interest/focus in Geotechnical Engineering, Geosciences, Engineering Geology, Geological Engineering, or Soil/Rock/Mining Engineering
• Recent graduate (2024 or 2025)
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 or equivalent
• UAE National holding a valid family book (per Emiratisation and UAE labor law)
