Grants Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the full grant lifecycle including application intake, eligibility screening, technical review coordination, and award execution
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all grant applicants, providing feedback and guidance throughout the review process
• Maintain the grant management system to track active grants, milestones, disbursement schedules, and reporting deadlines
• Coordinate with the Grant Committee, Foundation Board, and legal team on KYC/KYB completion and agreement execution
• Work with Finance & Operations to process milestone-based disbursements accurately and on schedule
• Proactively identify and recruit high-potential projects that align with the Foundation's RFP priorities
• Track program KPIs such as application volume, award rates, and ecosystem impact metrics

Requirements

• Experience managing grants or non-profit programs, preferably within technology, blockchain, or open-source organizations
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage 15–40 concurrent active grants
• Familiarity with 501(c)(3) grant compliance requirements, including written agreements and milestone documentation
• Technical fluency to evaluate blockchain development proposals and coordinate with technical leads
• Excellent communication skills for writing clear feedback, rejection rationales, and public updates
• Experience with KYC/KYB processes and working with international grantees

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with Web3 or crypto-specific grant programs
• Background in smart contract development or blockchain technical evaluation
• Experience building or scaling programs from the ground up
