Greek Interpreter - Remote OPI/VRI

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally and adhere to the Interpreter's code of conduct
• Take accurate notes during calls and render all messages completely without adding, omitting, or substituting
• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients in healthcare and legal settings
• Apply industry-specific vocabulary and standards of practice during interpretation
• Participate in internal professional training and pursue additional certifications
• Communicate and report to team leaders and comply with dress code for video remote interpreting

Requirements

• Native fluency in Greek and fluent English
• High school diploma in your native language
• High emotional intelligence and tolerance for different cultures
• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills
• 1+ years of telephone interpretation experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of medical or legal terminology preferred but not required

Preferred Qualifications

• International certifications in healthcare interpretation (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.)
• Prior experience with OPI/VRI platforms
