Responsibilities

  • Conduct Federal Capture market research via SAM.gov, GSA MAS, and other procurement portals
  • Gather intelligence on upcoming procurements and agency priorities to inform strategic capture planning
  • Collaborate with marketing and subject matter experts to develop winning proposals
  • Execute daily/weekly/monthly outreach including calls, emails, and meetings to generate and qualify leads
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage lead generation and prospect engagement
  • Develop teaming agreements, joint ventures, or subcontracting relationships with partners
  • Write and edit proposal content including executive summaries and technical approaches
  • Navigate and interpret government RFPs and contract vehicles
  • Champion AI-augmented ways of working to reduce cycle time

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the government sector
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting targets
  • Proficiency in CRM software and consultative sales processes
  • Excellent negotiation and government proposal writing skills
  • Ability to network at professional and government-focused events
  • Detail-oriented with professional persistence
  • U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of successful capture management experience in the Federal sector
  • In-depth knowledge of federal procurement regulations and the FAR
  • Experience leading integrated capture teams across multiple vendors
  • Familiarity with User Experience (UX/HCD) and digital communication technologies
