Responsibilities
- Conduct Federal Capture market research via SAM.gov, GSA MAS, and other procurement portals
- Gather intelligence on upcoming procurements and agency priorities to inform strategic capture planning
- Collaborate with marketing and subject matter experts to develop winning proposals
- Execute daily/weekly/monthly outreach including calls, emails, and meetings to generate and qualify leads
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs
- Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage lead generation and prospect engagement
- Develop teaming agreements, joint ventures, or subcontracting relationships with partners
- Write and edit proposal content including executive summaries and technical approaches
- Navigate and interpret government RFPs and contract vehicles
- Champion AI-augmented ways of working to reduce cycle time
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the government sector
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting targets
- Proficiency in CRM software and consultative sales processes
- Excellent negotiation and government proposal writing skills
- Ability to network at professional and government-focused events
- Detail-oriented with professional persistence
- U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 4 years of successful capture management experience in the Federal sector
- In-depth knowledge of federal procurement regulations and the FAR
- Experience leading integrated capture teams across multiple vendors
- Familiarity with User Experience (UX/HCD) and digital communication technologies
