Growth Operator, SEO & AEO

Responsibilities

• Own Flodesk's web content inventory across flodesk.com, /blog, and /tips
• Evolve how Flodesk content is structured for AI discoverability (AI summaries, schema, etc.)
• Write deep, accurate, and useful content that aligns with brand voice
• Maintain technical SEO hygiene including structured data, canonicals, and site speed
• Track AI search visibility and traditional SEO metrics across platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity
• Run structured tests and report biweekly on performance and experiments
• Expand content distribution to platforms like Reddit and YouTube

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years in SEO, content marketing, or growth
• Experience with AEO, GEO, or AI search optimization
• Proven track record of moving organic traffic and AI citation metrics
• Strong technical SEO foundation (Search Console, structured data, crawl health)
• Hands-on experience with Webflow or other CMS platforms
• Exceptional AI prompting skills for content production
• Data fluency in GA, Search Console, and SQL or spreadsheets
• An operator's mindset focused on building automations and systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for building for creators and small businesses
• Experience with Ahrefs, Semrush, or Profound
• Coding or vibe-coding experience (e.g., Claude Code)
• Experience with Git and GitHub/GitLab

• $120,000 - $140,000 USD base salary
