Head of Analytics

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Yassir’s analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives across diverse markets.
• Build and scale a robust analytics framework to support decision-making across product, operations, marketing, and finance.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of data analysts and BI professionals.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, ensuring professional development and alignment with company priorities.
• Establish best practices for data governance, reporting, and visualization.
• Collaborate with leadership and functional teams to create analytics-driven solutions for business challenges.
• Oversee the creation of dashboards, KPIs, and ad hoc analyses for product optimization and customer retention.
• Drive the adoption of self-service analytics tools organization-wide.
• Partner with data engineering to ensure quality, integrity, and scalability of data infrastructure.
• Manage and prioritize analytics initiatives for timely delivery and measurable impact.

Requirements

• 8+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles
• At least 3 years managing teams
• Experience scaling analytics in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Proficiency in analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
• Familiarity with data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery) and ETL processes
• Strong analytical skills and ability to convert data into actionable insights
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading multicultural teams
• Proven track record in hiring and developing top talent
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (advanced degree a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in French
• Experience in ride-hailing, food delivery, or fintech sectors
• Knowledge of machine learning or predictive modeling
• Experience working in Yassir’s operational geographies
