Head of Community

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive community engagement strategy aligned with Acclinate’s mission and business objectives.
• Lead the NOWINCLUDED community ecosystem, driving growth, engagement, and measurable health impact.
• Serve as a strategic bridge between community members and healthcare partners, including pharmaceutical companies and clinical research sites.
• Build and nurture relationships with community ambassadors and trusted messengers to foster affective trust.
• Design and lead scalable community experiences and activations that drive participation in clinical research and health education.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for community partnerships and in-person activations.
• Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to translate community insights into actionable strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in healthcare, life sciences, clinical research, patient engagement, or community health.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience, including working closely with senior leadership.
• Proven track record of developing successful community engagement programs that drive measurable outcomes.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and experience working with pharmaceutical or research organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across diverse communities and stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking skills combined with the ability to operationalize complex programs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex health topics into accessible messaging.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, community management tools, and social media.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MPH, MHA, MS, or related) in Public Health, Health Policy, or Health Sciences.
• Experience in fast-paced startup or agency-based environments.
• Background in life sciences, clinical research, or behavioral sciences.
