Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the Data & Reconciliations team based in Dubai (hybrid), mentoring engineers, data scientists, analysts and BI professionals.
  • Design and own the architecture of Yuno’s data infrastructure (data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines) to ensure scalability, reliability and performance for high-volume payment reconciliation.
  • Build and operate reconciliation systems that process millions of transactions daily across multiple processors, currencies and partners.
  • Define and execute the enterprise data integration strategy and roadmap, including APIs, batch and streaming integrations.
  • Ensure platform availability, security and operational excellence for Snowflake, AWS, BigQuery and related services.
  • Drive automation, observability and incident response practices; monitor data health metrics and lead remediation of critical data issues.
  • Champion modern integration and architecture patterns: data mesh, API-led connectivity, event-driven systems and robust ETL/ELT.
  • Partner with product, payments, and operations teams to align data capabilities with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building reconciliation platforms for payments or fintech at scale
  • Prior leadership of cross-functional data teams (engineering, analytics, BI)
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, Kafka or similar systems
  • Strong focus on data quality, observability and SRE practices for data
  • Experience with Looker or other BI platforms
