Job description

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a rolling 12–18 month strategic marketing calendar that integrates PR, events, campaigns, content, launches, exhibitions, and milestones.
  • Plan and activate regional events strategy: secure speaking roles, exhibitions, panels, and partnerships across cultural, design, architecture, and innovation events.
  • Lead bilingual (Arabic & English) PR: oversee press releases, media outreach, interviews, and feature placement.
  • Develop integrated marketing and content strategies in Arabic and English across digital, social, editorial, and event channels.
  • Create narrative platforms for ATÖLYE’s three practices: Architecture, Experience Design, and Community & Learning.
  • Drive private-sector visibility by cultivating relationships with stakeholders in real estate, hospitality, tourism, culture, government, and tech.
  • Establish measurement frameworks, track performance, and optimize campaigns using data-driven insights.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure alignment with business and practice leads.

Requirements

  • Bilingual (Arabic & English) proficiency
  • 10–12+ years in marketing, PR, or communications
  • Proven experience building long-range marketing calendars
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Experience with regional events and media relations
  • Demonstrated ability to engage private-sector stakeholders
  • Data-driven approach to measurement and optimization
  • Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within GCC creative, cultural, or design ecosystems
  • Background working with architecture, experience design, or cultural organisations
  • Established relationships with regional media and cultural institutions
  • Experience positioning organisations at major cultural and design events
