Job description
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the end-to-end observability strategy covering logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting
- Own the customer-facing observability product experience including dashboards and logs explorer
- Build and lead a world-class observability engineering team while establishing telemetry standards
Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years in leadership or management
- Proven experience building or operating an observability platform at scale
- Deep technical expertise in Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building customer-facing observability products
- Experience with Elixir/Erlang in production
- Contributions to open source observability projects
