Head of Pharmacy Operations

Responsibilities

• Building the pharmaceutical operating model from scratch.
• Defining and managing the product assortment (focus on high-quality medicines in the lower price segment).
• Establishing processes for:
  • procurement and supplier management.
  • warehouse operations and logistics.
  • inventory and turnover management.
• Implementing and adapting a pharmacy warehouse management system in cooperation with the IT team.
• Preparing and launching operational processes for the pilot kiosk network.
• Managing on-site staff (customer support personnel at kiosks).
• Cooperating with partners (eHealth, insurance, and medical services).
• Participating in the development of the project’s regulatory framework (together with legal advisors and consultants).
• Scaling the operational model across the entire network.

Requirements

• Has gone through the full career path within the pharmacy business:
  • worked as a pharmacist.
  • served as a pharmacy manager or pharmacy director.
  • worked in the head office of a pharmacy chain (procurement, operations, logistics, assortment, retail).
• Understands the “inside mechanics” of pharmacy operations:
  • how assortments are formed.
  • which products actually sell.
  • how suppliers are selected.
  • how accounting and logistics are managed.
• Has experience managing processes and teams.
• Is capable of building systems rather than simply following predefined procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the head office of a pharmacy chain.
• Experience scaling a network (from a few locations to dozens or hundreds).
• Participation in launching new pharmacy formats or greenfield projects.
• Understanding of the regulatory environment of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market.

About the Company

We are launching an innovative pharmaceutical project - a network of automated pharmacy kiosks located directly in healthcare facilities.

This is a startup-stage initiative (6-12 months): business model development, pilot launch, and building the entire pharmaceutical and operational structure from scratch.
