About the Company

The European Payments Initiative is changing the way Europe pays with Wero, a proudly European digital wallet designed to make payments easier, clearer, and more secure. Backed by 16 major banks and the two largest European acquirers, Wero is building a brand new, pan-European payment system.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate a clear product vision and strategic roadmap for the Central Services product group
• Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers and Technical Analysts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Risk, and Compliance to meet regulatory requirements
• Engage with member banks to align on strategic roadmaps and future development opportunities

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management with 5+ years in senior leadership
• Deep expertise in fintech and the payments industry, including AML, fraud prevention, and GDPR
• Proven track record of building scalable backend services and payment processing platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in French, German, or Dutch
• Experience working in remote-first, multicultural environments
• Strong command of Agile methodologies
