Responsibilities

• Build and own a mature, scalable GRC framework to manage regulatory risks, obligations, and internal policies
• Serve as the internal point-person for Revenue, Marketing, and other teams on regulatory and compliance challenges
• Manage ongoing compliance obligations, including license applications, renewals, and regulatory filings
• Partner with the Product Team to provide guidance on new product initiatives to ensure compliance
• Develop and maintain protocols for internal and external investigations, risk assessments, and incident response
• Provide generalist legal support as needed

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in regulatory and compliance
• Practical working knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, IRS, state-level TPA, privacy, and insurance regimes
• J.D. from a U.S. law school and admission to a state bar
• Proven experience building compliance programs from the ground up in a high-growth or startup environment
• Ability to work in a high-performing, mission-driven team with intense urgency
