Head of SEO and AI Visibility

Responsibilities

• Lead Smallpdf’s global SEO program including technical, on-page, content, and off-page strategies
• Manage and mentor a team of 3-6 SEO specialists
• Improve brand visibility in AI Search and LLMs
• Own the SEO roadmap and link priorities to business outcomes and ARR
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to execute SEO initiatives
• Design and implement a structured SEO experimentation program
• Shape content strategy to align with SEO and LLMO opportunities
• Define and track SEO KPIs and conduct regular audits

Requirements

• 6–10 years of SEO experience (technical, on-page, content, and off-page)
• 2+ years of experience in product-led SaaS
• 2+ years of experience leading a team
• Proven track record in adapting SEO for AI-driven discovery (LLMO/AI search optimization)
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, crawling, indexation, and structured data
• Proficiency with core SEO tools like Google Search Console and Ahrefs
• Experience in international, programmatic, and product-led SEO

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with an experimental mindset
• Ability to align stakeholders across Leadership, Marketing, and Engineering teams
