Head of Technology Operations - UAE

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead operations management for client services, custody processes, and service quality across the UAE region
• Maintain a robust first-line operational control environment with clear procedures, segregation of duties, and reconciliations
• Ensure operational resilience including incident, problem, change, and business continuity planning
• Oversee technology service delivery and outsourcing/vendor management, including SLA governance and remediation
• Manage local change delivery for technology, product, process, and organizational initiatives
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure closure of operational/technology findings
• Represent technology and operations in client and regulatory meetings, providing transparent reporting to senior governance forums
• Act as regional escalation point for major issues and contribute to global Client Operations strategy

Requirements

• 15+ years operational leadership in Financial Services with significant technology focus
• 3+ years experience in FinTech or digital assets
• Proven experience managing a regional affiliate on a global technology stack
• Deep knowledge of UAE market and regulatory environment
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and cloud technologies
• Demonstrated capability managing outsourced functions, shared services, and third-party providers
• Experience coordinating audits and delivering disciplined, well-documented remediation
• Client-facing experience with strong stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
• Familiarity with Agile, Product, and project management methodologies
• Strong ITIL background
