About the Company

Responsibilities

  • Set editorial direction and quality standards for whitepapers, customer reports, and blog posts
  • Speak at industry conferences, webinars, and provide expert commentary
  • Present complex findings to security analysts, executives, and government officials
  • Serve as a media spokesperson for Netcraft's threat research
  • Research phishing, malware, and cybercrime campaigns using internal telemetry
  • Produce threat assessments and attribute infrastructure to threat actor groups
  • Mentor and develop a team of threat analysts
  • Partner with engineering and operations to turn research into detection rules and IOC feeds
  • Support customer engagements by mapping threats to frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK

Requirements

  • Published research in threat intelligence or cybersecurity
  • Experience presenting original research to technical and C-suite audiences
  • Several years of threat intelligence experience including leadership or management
  • Strong editorial judgment and experience managing a publication pipeline
  • Deep understanding of phishing, malware, online fraud, and threat actor TTPs
  • Working knowledge of web technologies, internet infrastructure, and data analysis
