Health Plan Data Analyst III

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyze, report, and monitor provider data across various business functions, systems, and interfaces
• Manage new Health Partner Lifecycle (HPLC) initiatives from concept through implementation
• Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses to support business case creation and decision-making
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for provider data and its impact on downstream processes
• Review reports and data for pattern identification, trend analysis, and special cause variation
• Develop, document, test, and validate new data solutions and process improvements
• Mentor peers to achieve cross-functional capability and subject matter expertise

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
• Minimum of five years of healthcare data analysis or project management experience
• Required experience with the Cognizant Facets Provider application
• Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of the Facets data model

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma or other performance improvement experience
• Managed care industry experience
