Healthcare Data Strategy & Insights Analyst

Responsibilities

• Partner with program managers and domain experts to gather and clarify business and functional data requirements
• Document requirements, data definitions, and business rules for technical teams
• Translate stakeholder needs into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Review existing data workflows to identify inefficiencies and streamline operations
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau or Qlik
• Write and validate SQL queries to support analysis and data verification
• Perform high-level data validation to ensure results meet business expectations
• Communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences

Requirements

• Experience in data analysis, business analysis, or analytics roles in regulated environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills
• Solid SQL experience for querying and analyzing data
• Hands-on experience with Tableau or Qlik
• Active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with healthcare or federal data environments
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards like HL7/FHIR or OMOP
• Experience using Excel or Python (pandas) for ad hoc analysis
• Understanding of data privacy and compliance in regulated settings
