About the Company

Octave is a modern behavioral health practice creating a new standard for care delivery that’s both high-quality and accessible. With in-person and virtual clinics in multiple states, the company offers evidence-based individual, couples, and family therapy, while pioneering relationships with payers to make care more affordable through insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to providers in whitespace markets
  • Manage inbound requests from healthcare providers
  • Conduct virtual presentations to educate physicians and staff
  • Overcome objections and establish Octave as a preferred referral partner
  • Meet assigned referral targets and complete virtual sales activities
  • Build a deep understanding of Octave's services and value proposition
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and track outreach in CRM
  • Partner with marketing to create scalable referral processes
  • Leverage AI tools for daily efficiency and decision-making

Requirements

  • 2-4 years in behavioral health outreach, business development, or healthcare sales
  • Experience engaging healthcare providers or medical office staff
  • Proven ability to manage a pipeline and work in a CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work core business hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST on at least three weekdays
  • Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day workflows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the behavioral health landscape
  • Prior experience with AI tools
