Healthcare Portal UX Designer (UAE-based)

This role is based in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai or Abu Dhabi) and requires a UX designer experienced in healthcare or regulated industries. You will lead end-to-end UX for a healthcare portal used by patients, providers and administrators, focusing on accessibility, secure handling of sensitive health data, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX strategy and execution for a healthcare portal operating in the UAE
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data-driven analysis for patient and provider workflows
• Create information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
• Design high-fidelity UI aligned with accessibility standards (WCAG) and local data protection expectations
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, content and compliance stakeholders
• Maintain and contribute to a scalable design system
• Present designs, research findings and rationale to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
• Ensure designs consider privacy, security and regulatory requirements relevant to healthcare

• Experience working in agile teams and collaborating with engineering
